One great way to begin building fans is to be active. You need to reach out in groups and find others with fanpages, who are in the same niche. Never “Like” someone’s page and then message them asking to “Like” yours back. There will be times when people will make a post and offer a “Like” exchange. You should be more active on others posts as well. Like, share, comment on other people’s pages and profiles. This will lead to others doing the same on yours as they get to know you.

Help them get to know you and recognize you first. Start any new connection off with offering value and having good conversations with them.
