Steps To Becoming An Entrepreneur: The 1-2-3

When you have decided that you are going to pursue a career as an entrepreneur, that may be when you realize there is much more than first expected. In today’s message I want to talk about the steps to becoming an entrepreneur in a way many look for. People are looking for the steps to becoming an entrepreneur as a 1-2-3 guide or book. Just tell them what to do and they will do their best. Well here is the 1-2-3 for steps to becoming an entrepreneur.

First thing to realize, is the 1-2-3 that so many are looking for, does exist. However, it isn’t how they may of imagined it to be. For example a person may be looking for someone to tell them step by step on how to build their business, but ceartainly in network marketing, it’s not quite that easy.

The best way to describe this 1-2-3 in steps to becoming an entrepreneur is these three actions:

1. You must learn mindset: A person will never get far in network marketing without this. Most people realize when they begin as an entrepreneur that others may rain on their sunshine. Friends, family, and other people will tell you it’s not worth trying, noone ever makes it, and so forth. You must learn to overcome the extreme challenge ahead, and keep only a positive mind in everything you are doing.

2. You must be willing to put a lot of time, and money into the challenge. The steps to becoming an entrepreneur are about you using your money, and time, for a profit. However, in the beginning, there will not be much of a profit, but more of a loss. Here is the step where many begin thinking like an employee. (I take what I made, subtract it by what I spent, then divide that amount by 40 hours, and I am only making .50 cents an hour?? I quit, not worth it)

Remember going back to mindset. When you walk the steps to becoming an entrepreneur, you must be ready for the “not so worth it” profits to start off with.

3. You must now teach, and share value with the marketplace. You must be able to bring a positive thing to the marketplace. As network marketers, we must teach others to beat the negative feedback they get when they start. Teach them the mindset, and hope they will invest time and/or money into further education or what they need. By teaching, and sharing value the steps to becoming an entrepreneur are now stepping the correct direction.

These steps to becoming an entrepreneur  may not be the easy layout you expected. But it is the truth. There really is no secret, there is only information you haven’t learned yet. Go by these three steps, and success will be waiting for you.
