 Your Overall Main Goal

We all set out to achieve a big goal each year such as “make a million dollars” or “Signup 100 people”. But why is it that many people do not actually complete the goal they first set out for?
One issue is procrastination. You know you have until December 31st to complete it, so today doesn’t seem to have much of an effect on this goal if you choose not to work. I am sure you know how it goes from there, right?

The Solution
In order to achieve your overall goal, you need to create one simple habit:
Daily Goals

Daily goals will be how you reach your overall goal. Each day be sure to have your objective completed before you finish. A good example would be “Contact 20 new people” each day, “Write a piece of content” each day and/or so on. This will be the sure way to get results and a good habit to crush it this year in 2015, and the years to come.

What’s Your Daily Goals?

Be sure to leave a comment below and share what your daily goal is for 2015. This will be great for other readers to learn from as well. You can also leave your main objective for 2015 as well. All comments are appreciated!

  • Hi, Jay,
I have made my daily goals and they are:
Contact 100 people through IBO and Linkedin per day
    Get anwers 10 per day
Get person to join 1per day.
The last goal is not something I can control as much as the others, but if I just get one per day that I can feel like he/she will become a customer or distributor it will be great.
I will be at your webinar. I have registered.
    Talk to you soon.

great post. Darren Hardy says, you make habits then the habits make you. If you don’t like where you’re at, change your habits

Thanks for sharing your press release. This is just what I was looking for to set realistic goals for myself for 2015. I will advertise and talk to five to 10 people a day and get them to take a real look at my primary business.

Nice action plan steps laid out Jaye…

Too often we get overwhelmed when we make goals too big beyond our scope…

How do we eat an elephant? One bite at a time :-)

That’s a great way to put it Lisa, but not sure if an elephant would be fun to eat!

Goal setting is so important. And yet so often overlooked. Especially daily goals. Many of us have been taught to set those 1 year and 5 year goals, but then forget to turn them into actionable daily goals. Thanks, Jaye, for the reminder.

Jaye good points to follow on goals. Just need to make goals that can be reached but the ones that need to be worked daily. Thanks for your sharing of information.
